What is PBIS?
Wilburn is a Positive Behavior Intervention and Support, or PBIS school. Being a PBIS school means that all staff members work to help students display positive behaviors and traits to be successful at school and beyond. Students and classes are rewarded for meeting our school-wide expectations, nicknamed "PAWS," which stands for:

  • Practice Self-Control
  • Act Responsibly
  • Work for Success
  • Show Respect
If you see your child coming home with a "PAW" sticker, asked them how they earned it! Every week, five students who earned at least one individual PAW, are randomly selected to enjoy a Chick-Fil-A lunch with Dr. Tracy and a staff member!
