Kidspired Bunnies Mrs Holt's second graders participated in an Internet project called Kidspired Bunnies. This project integrated reading, writing, and technology into the curriculum. Here is our webpage showing what they did.

Have you heard of Flat Stanley? Well, Flat Wilbur came to visit Mrs. Willis' third graders. They took some pictures and wrote some stories about his adventures! Read the Adventures of Flat Wilbur here! Mrs. Boyle's students used breakfast cereal to learn about the scientific process. Here are some of their projects. Mrs. Miller's class read a story about a birdwatcher. They created their own birdwatching stories. Read their "observations" here. Ms. Ploss' third graders went on a walking tour of Raleigh. They drew pictures of their trip so everyone could see the sights, too. Go on the walking tour... Ms. Ploss's students created a dictionary of geography terms. Learn about capes, bluffs, marshes, and more! Ms. Ploss' students completed a study of the mystery genre by reading David Adler's Cam Jansen books. They created HyperStudio projects about the books they read. Check them out!

Ms. Keenan's fourth graders researched famous North Carolina places and created a wonderful ABC book about our state. Learn about North Carolina by reading their poetry and reports in The ABCs of North Carolina! What do you know about the Civil War? Ms. Diello's students researched how what life was like during the civil war for North Carolinianas. They created web pages to show what they learned. Check them out! Ms. Robinson's students created HyperStudio projects to document their work with electric circuits. Check out slides from their projects here.
